Yesterday was Flag Day. Sydney is still doing great. She went on a 3 hour hike up Neff's Canyon. Her Girl is coming to visit July 8. She will be so happy!

Update: Syd crossed over today. She was in so much pain. It was time.
Sydney was diagnosed with a Mast Cell Tumor on April 9th. It took us by surprise. Yes, she's old - 14 years and 4 months - but she'd been so healthy. The vet isn't sure how long she has - maybe a few more months - I hope its more. I will post daily photos, celebrate her life and take advantage of the time she has left.
Can I have steak and chicken for dinner, Mom? Can I lie in the sun? Can we walk to the creek and swim in the pond? Will you stoop to stroke my face and give me lot's of love?
