Sydney loves creeks! Its snow melt time so there is a lot of water descending from the mountains. Its ice cold too! For Syd, the colder the better. It takes a lot to penetrate the Eskimo fur.

Sunny Days

Ahh, so warm and sunny today. Syd went on a LONG hike yesterday and did great. I checked her lump today and I can't feel it! The meds seem to be lessening her symptoms.

Saturday, May 2

UPDATE: Sydney is doing great. She has all her liveliness back - underfoot all the time again. She is eating well and the medications seem to have shrunk the tumor or at least keeping it small. Maybe she will fool us and be around a lot longer. She sleeps a lot, which is normal for her. She's been going on small hikes and doing very well, keeping up to our pace. It's probably wrong to let my guard down but I feel a little less sad these days.

P.S. I love the fur on the top of her head. Its so silky and parts in the center and makes a mop over her eyes.
